When Allie and Carl got engaged, the first thing Allie decided was that the wedding was going to be in Savannah. A gem of the old south, Savannah’s romantic charm is undeniable, and this couple chose to have their wedding at two historic locations that beautifully illustrate this: 109 West House and Orleans Square.
Nothing short of stars aligning, Allie and Carl’s wedding landed on the perfect weekend. With a foreboding forecast of 80% chance of torrential downpour the entire day, it was a veritable miracle that the weather system missed Savannah, and nothing but sunshine graced their wedding day! Not to mention, it was THE weekend that all the azaleas and cherry blossoms were in bloom across town–serendipitously matching Allie and Carl’s coordinated floral invitations and pale pink color scheme.
A magical reception beneath softly glowing lanterns and criss crossing strings of twinkle lights drew the night to a close for this deeply-in-love couple, as they began their new life together. Congratulations, Carl and Allie, and I hope Savannah’s magic stays with you throughout your marriage!
