Angela + Dan: A Non-Traditional Chicago Engagement Shoot

Ohhhh my gosh.  Angela and Dan.  I could sit here and type out three thousand words about how great these two are, and it still wouldn’t do them justice. So I’ll save everyone involved some time and just say this: Angela and Dan are the bee’s knees.  The cat’s pajamas.  The frickinest awesomest of the awesome.  And they are perfect together.

Connie and I spent a warm, cloudy afternoon together around Chicago discussing philosophy, the complexities of life, and the meaning of eternal love.  No, wait… that’s not right… ah, right, here we go:  We spent a warm, cloudy afternoon around Chicago gushing about Arrested Development, rapping to Jagged Edge, and basically scaring every child (and their guardians, too) at Lincoln Park Zoo.  On top of all that, Angela and Dan have the most adorable chemistry together, and were completely on board for any and every adventure during their engagement session.  (What more could a photographer ask for??)

Basically, they are the best, and they are the best for each other, and I can’t wait for their big day next March.  Thank you, Angela and Dan!

To see Angela and Dan’s full session (rather than just the highlights below), you can find it here, and to purchase prints or digital downloads, just go here!

  1. Beautiful engagement photos Laura! Just found you when I clicked on your comment on Justin & Mary’s blog. I especially love the photos taken underneath the intricate wooden arch-it looks like a piece of art and you enhanced it with your creativity and this gorgeous couple. Keep up the wonderful work!
