Originally built as a summer home by a New York railroad tycoon in 1851 and carefully restored to pristine condition, The Inn at Oneonta is truly a breathtaking piece of history–and the only remaining piece of the town of Oneonta, which was destroyed by the Flood of 1937. Over the years, the impressive three-story mansion has delighted guests traveling by railroad and steamboat, and, for one weekend in July of 2014, Megan and Bobby’s family and friends.
Quaint and secluded, the grounds of Oneonta made for a pretty, peaceful ceremony, and the outdoor reception area was the perfect site for a joyous bash that kept groovin’ late into the night. There’s something warm and familiar about Megan and Bobby’s love for each other, and it brings nothing but smiles to their faces and to anyone who’s around them. Add to the mix a lovely and warm summer evening, an infectiously fun wedding party, and delicious mint julep sweet tea on tap, and you’ve got one heck of a celebration!
Congratulations, Megan and Bobby! Friends and family, don’t forget that you can check out all of the photos from the big day and the rehearsal, order prints, and share to social media over on Bobby and Megan’s wedding page!
